slow your roll

in today’s world, we’re always on the go. we’re rushing out the door, eating while driving like a maniac down the road, and rushing through lunch so you can finish *this*. before you know it, it’s 10 o’clock at night and you’ve been busy all day without a break.

but have you noticed that when you are the busiest and most frantic you’re not very productive. you stop at the end of the day and go, “how was i busy all day but i didn’t do 5 of the things i needed to get done?”

you need to slow your roll. easy does it. slow and steady wins the race. get up a little earlier. plan your outfit the night before. eat at home. go the speed limit. take breaks every 30 minutes or hour. taste your lunch, don’t just scarf it down. you’ll find that when you slow down, you’re more productive, more present, and in a better mood. try it one day.
