bits-&-pieces

when you tell someone story, they’re reacting to the way you stated the facts. they don’t know the full unedited story. so, it’s the way that you present the facts to them which creates a specific response from them. sometimes i feel a certain way towards a situation, but then the response from my best friend is completely different. it makes me wonder if the way i presented the facts, which created that specific response, is how i actually feel. i.e. if i feel mutual about the situation but my friends response is anger and agitation, then the way i presented those facts must have made it seem like i was angry and agitated also. i wonder if the response of your best friend to a situation you explained is how you actually feel. because if i feel the need to state the facts a certain way, then i’m obviously subconsciously trying to make her feel a certain way. and why would i want her to feel differently than me? just an interesting idea to me.
